I have been told by clients countless times over the years that they like my straightforward no b.s. approach. My philosophy is simple, I treat my clients as if the roles were reversed and I am sitting in their shoes. Most clients are turned off by how a majority of attorneys act, as if getting paid is more important than the actual client's problems. At Elkins and Elkins we try to dispel people's negative impression of attorneys. Whether a person is dealing with a family matter such as a bad marriage, financial problems, or an injury our office is there to help. I have the experience and know how to get the job done. Unlike many attorneys' offices, Elkins & Freedman provides a free consultation.
I am a lifelong Floridian having attended the University of Florida as an undergrad (graduated in 3 years) and Nova University Law for law school. I've litigated thousands of cases over the years in a majority of the counties in the state.
I've spoken to organizations and groups on matters such as Family Law Reform and have appeared before the Florida Legislature.

Daniel Elkins is an associate attorney at Elkins & Elkins, where he concentrates his practice in Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, and Family Law. While attending Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, Mr. Elkins served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rodney W. Sippel, U.S. District Judge in the Eastern District of Missouri. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Elkins worked for a real estate development firm in South Florida.
